How Matchmaking works?

Below guidelines apply if you are a company or an investor. In case you are a university inventor, please scroll down to that section.

Company/Investor

Registration:

  1. Registration is open until May 24 or until the limited amount of tickets have been reserved.
  2. Check your email for a verification email and follow the steps to complete your profile.
  3. When your registration has been accepted you will receive an email confirmation.
  4. Click Partnership on your profile page and fill out a short text about yourself and what you are looking for (do not use Investment Opportunity as this reserved for inventors). This text will be visible to all participants and may form the basis for meeting invitations.
Tip: Create a strong profile, which will raise your visibility to others on the marketplace platform.  Make it clear and concise. Your marketplace profile should describe, what you can offer potential partners and what type of partner, you want to meet. A good profile will significantly generate more meetings. Don't forget your profile will be live and visible even after the event.

Meeting bookings:

Meeting bookings are possible between April 4 and May 28 and meeting seats will be distributed at a first-come-first-served basis.

  1. For a quick summary of all inventions download the one-pager collection found at the Download Resources link in the right-hand panel.
The file will be updated as registrations are received so please revisit the link later.
  2. All inventions are marked with a unique ID (e.g. BP01 for Biotech and Pharma invention no. 01). To request a meeting with the inventor(s) of a technology, please visit the Marketplace and enter the ID in the search bar.
  3. Click the profile tile to see the full description of an invention.
  4. From here, you will be able to send a meeting request or message the inventor(s).
  5. Once your meeting partner has processed your request, you will receive an email confirming if your request has been accepted or declined. When the event organisers have scheduled the meeting, it will be added to your personal agenda, which is available both on the website and via the b2match app.

Build connections:

About 1-2 days before the event, you will receive an email with your detailed meeting schedule. You can also check this online or via the B2mathc app. Download b2match on your IOS or Android device to plan your event attendance and to book b2b meetings.

From registration to the event, there will be regular e-mail updates explaining what you need to do next.
